The Well: GrandMelon
[ QUOTE ]
A stranger is being shown around a village that he has just become part of. He is shown a well and his guide says "On any day except Tuesday, you can shout any question down that well and you'll be told the answer" . The man seems pretty impressed, and so he shouts down: Why not on Tuesday? and the voice from in the well shouts back: Because on Tuesday, it’s your day in the well. [/ QUOTE ] Im off to bed for a few hours so Ill start answering questions in the morning. Fire away folks. |

Re: The Well: GrandMelon
Interested in your poker "story." Then,
Age? Student? If so, studying what? If not, is poker your only source of income? Thing you like most/least about poker? Thanks for doing this... |

Re: The Well: GrandMelon
How old are you and what do you do besides playing poker?
How did you start playing poker and how fast have you moved up in limits? Main differences between nl100-nl200? Any tips for moving up? |

[/ QUOTE ] Covered the fist 2 already Main differences in the levels is probably the amount of fish and skill set of regulars. At 1/2 your not gonna have as many 70/10 players but more the 24/6's that are really easy to exploit. The regulars get a little bit better but still a lot of them suck. There are maybe 5 players top at 1/2 that I have to worry about. As for moving up, just go up there and play your game. A lot of people think they need to get all fancy since the players are better but you dont. Treysfull plays the most straightforward poker I have ever seen and he is a winner at 1/2. Im not you should play like this Im just saying play in your comfort zone and things will go much smoother. After you are comfortable you can make the necessary adjustments and start exploiting everyone. |

I tend to have issues when moving up and feel like I have to make genius plays to win, but it simply isn't the case. Next time I jump up and take a shot I really want to focus on playing my same game and not getting crazy. |

What's up with the squirrel in your avatar? I've seen others with it, but never knew the story behind it.

Whats with the screen name? (non US here) [/ QUOTE ] I was really drunk when I was registering here and couldnt think of a name. I saw a bottle of that Bicardi Grandmelon rum in my gf's purse and was like ok that will do. I also think I should get custom initials like DLM because having initials = balla LDO |
