MAFIA 2 Signup/Interest/Discussion Thread (Co-mod wanted)
OK, so I notice the people are crying out for long games, so lets give this one an encore. I will be needing a co-mod to handle late countifs and call night.
Rules and Roles Mafia <u>Consigliere</u> Can use money earned by the mob to perform various night actions. He can perform as many of these as he can afford. BRIBE ($100) : Selects a player of his choice. If that player is a cop, his peek is blocked that night. The consigliere is not informed if this action is successful or not. BUY ARMOUR ($250): Selects a member of the mafia (including himself), who becomes immune to nightkills. HITMAN ($500) : An extra nightkill. <u>Underboss</u> Aqcuires the powers of the consigliere if he dies before day 3. <u>Mafiosi</u> (3) Vanilla wolves and the source of the consiglieres income, each providing $100 at the start of each day. Village <u>Cops</u> (2) Seers. Peek each night, including n0, giving exact role, unless bribed. <u>Doctor</u> Angel. Can protect a player from being killed each night. Cannot protect himself, protection %50 effective on cops. <u>Vigilante</u> Villager with %75 effective nightkills. If he receives a bribe, upgraded to %100 from the night he gets bribed. <u>Villagers</u> (12) We know what these guys do. It plays a lot like an AS game, the emphasisis is still on wolf-finding, but with a little extra strategy. Any comments on balance would be appreciated. |

i think this is too provillage with vigilante as is and with two seers. we STILL lost the first game even though the seers never got peeks.

To answer balance concerns there will be no n0 peeks for the seers. I think you are underestimating the power of the bribe though, it allows you to cast a pretty wide net with your seer suspiscions. |

Mafiosi (3) Vanilla wolves and the source of the consiglieres income, each providing $100 at the start of each day. Village Cops (2) Seers. No n0 peeks. Peeks giving exact role for all player except godfather, unless bribed. Doctor Angel. Can protect a player from being killed each night. Cannot protect himself, protection 50% effective on cops and vigilante. Vigilante Villager with 75% effective nightkills. Miller Thinks he's a villager. Peeks as mafia. Villagers (11) We know what these guys do. Better/worse? Also, the mafia can opt not to kill at night. |
