probably could fold 3rd, but at a full table i guess a call is alright

4th is obv call

5th i might raise, but i dont think anybody is folding so call is probably best there too

6th is obv bet

7th is obv bet/fold too, i think

yup, pretty standard.

At the time, I kind of felt a raise was good to try and get rid of the 7. Should he call a double bet with 7+wheel card down? What if I was HU with the bettor?

[/ QUOTE ] One can assume the 5 paired him in hindsight, or he started with a bad hand and decided to try to semi-bluff if he caught a few good cards. Also possible, in my mind, is that he could have smooth check called 4th and checked on 5th planning a check raise with a pat 7. Now, a raise by you would open up the option for a 3 bet by the 7, putting you in a very awkward spot, depending on what seat 4 did. On the other side of the coin, if he is as really as weak as he's playing, then it is also a mistake for him to be putting his chips in the pot.

In my utterly insignificant opinion (first post! lawl): well played. Your hand's showing signs of rigor mortis on 3rd with live draws, so call's justified (if not exactly clear) despite 2 "better" opponents.

5th Street bettor's drawing to something strong, but your hand contains most of what he wants. Isn't there a rule of thumb about a good draw on 5th leading any made hand worse than a smooth 9? Your rough 8 should be better than Seat 4's draw. As for Seat 5, the checks imply weak hole card or weak player. Possibly you could have raised here.

Bet on 6th = obvious.

River bet seems correct (guy's in love with his draw, may call if he missed it by a little). I count 10 dead low cards (two Aces, three sevens, etc.) that he wanted; how often does he hit that draw?

(meh, posted before catching Sensei's reply. Virtual quote of his opinion = pure coincidence. Honest.)

Usual caveats about razz. Isn't third a fold? I'd be more interested if the Eight were hidden. By the same token, you're sucking some serious hind tit on fourth. I guess it's a call, but I wouldn't like it. The rest looks OK, but I think I'd check the river.

3rd st is very marginal, I'd probly fold it here too. Q: would you call if it were a $2 ante instead?

Of course. Where do they have a game where the ante is the same as the big bet?
