Fine against a bad player. 40 is better imo. He will fold the A[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] here most of the time

Is this because he knows the villain? Or against an unknown too? I can't fold the A[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] here against an unknown...

it obviously depends on your image. If you were thrown around lately i would fake block bet, if u were owning the table push, If standard i would make a small value bet for around 30-40 to be called by Qc or sth.

oh and..

I like betting 25, making it look like a blocking bet, letting him think he has FE, and he will still shove over your bet if he has the A of clubs.

This seems like an ideal river to fake-block, like $20.

You don't become mod by folding the A[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img].

there arent many, but i dont like a shove for value on account of the fact that your shove polarizes ur range to bluff or boat (because shoving with anything else is retarded or turns said hand into a bluff, one or the other)

giving a nit option between bluff and boat, nits dont like being presented those options and will typically fold to shoves, whereas stupid loose players will tend to give action.

against a player like 4_2 i think a valuetown bet works better as it gets called a significantly higher % of the time to makeup for the smaller betsize, and (though relatively unimportant) 4_2 will sometimes shove over a valuebet with the A[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]

anyways bet $24 on the river
