Weight loss prop bet: Do I have a chance?
Made a bet with a coworker to see who can lose the most weight percentage wise by August 31st.
I'm 5' 8'' and weigh about 160 lbs. He's 6'0'' and around 214 lbs. I've gained about 10 lbs in the last year and am way out of shape so this is good motiviation. Do I have a chance to win this??? |

Not if he cares. It depends if you want to improve your health or win the bet. You could likely just wreck yourself and win this bitch barely if he gives two [censored] but cares about health.

Re: Weight loss prop bet: Do I have a chance?
is it determined by total pounds lost? or some kind of percentage of the starting weight?
oops, saw its based on percent...but still probably not... |

Re: Weight loss prop bet: Do I have a chance?
bet should be who can get to a lower weight in ratio to their height. so you have a starting advantage but he has more to potentially lose, and more to gain from the wager.

Re: Weight loss prop bet: Do I have a chance?
you can take diuretics and stuff to win. Drink lots of water and eat alot before the first weigh in. Then before the last one get ultra dehydrated and dont eat that day. If you just want to win you should be able to.
Howard stern had a contest like this and the winner lost like 32 pounds in the last week of competition or somethin crazy by dehydrating himself and fasting for awhile before the final weigh in. You could get a colonic. |
