Which savings account has the best APY right now?
I remember ING, Emigrant, and HSBC kept one upping each other a few months ago with their %s. I haven't really been in a position to move my money around since then but I am now and am wondering where to put it.
I know next to nothing about stocks but I'm still going to put my faith in 2+2 and invest some in ETFs as per the Investing 101 thread because I know I've been passing up a lot of EV by not doing so. But I'd also like to keep some in a savings account where I won't ever worry about it (ZOMG MARKET CRASH I'M RUINED!!1!). So does anyone know which banks currently have the best offers? Thanks a lot for your help. |

Countrywide- 5.25.......and 5.40 for balances of 50,000+.
More importantly, this is a solid institution. -FH- |

More importantly, this is a solid institution. [/ QUOTE ] Is that really that important for an FDIC insured savings account? |
