I think if you check the flop I like checking the turn to prevent exactly what happened (you now have to fold) This may seem real weak but are you not WA/WB here?
I would also cbet the flop pretty much every time here. |

I really don't mind call c/c riv or even shoving here. Your line looks weak and this is a typical bluffing spot for him.

First, if you dont know much about the opponent then why are you 3 betting with AJ? Save plays like that for players who raise too often preflop and who can actually fold to a reraise.
Second, why are you checking this flop? Your hand is under-repped now since you showed weakness twice (check flop, small turn bet). He may be making a play with a smaller pair thinking you have KK/QQ and he can push you off. I'd have bet the flop and bet the turn, then re-evaluate on the river. |
