I never know what makes an interesting hand so this is probably standard. 4 handed 30/60 game. UTG and button are both donks. BB is a good tag and almost certainly a 2+2er.

UTG folds, 54/15 lp limps on the button. I raise, BB calls and button calls.

Flop: 2[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] 4[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] 2[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], Hero bets, BB raises, Button calls 2, Hero 3-bets, BB calls, Button calls.


Turn: 2[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] 4[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] 2[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] J[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], Hero bets, BB raises, Button calls, Hero calls.


River: 2[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] 4[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] 2[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] J[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] A[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] Hero checks....

River check is standard yeah? How about the rest of the streets?

also is it possible that BB has a pocket pair (not a set)? like 77 88 99 TT QQ KK?

This looks like a standard river b/f to me. The only benefit to checking is that we can't get bluff-raised, which is happening basically never here.

Yeah, I wasn't worried about button as I wouldn't be surprised if he made it to the river with K6o or something.

I checked river because I thought BB was more likely to bet a worse hand than he was to call a bet if I donked the river. He has to know I have an A if I donk that river right?

Yeah, maybe you're right. I don't know, if I put myself in BB's spot with QJs or a pair of 4s orr something, I'd have a tough time calling a river donk from the SB with the button behind me after I (BB) have taken such a strong line and SB bets anyways.

River got checked around , BB showed 48s that picked up a flush draw on the turn and Button had Jd8s.

I dont think villian has a deuce and I dont think he has an ace so why not bet the river for value in such a big pot?
