Re: 5.50 FT | AA in this situation
This hand is so backwards I don't know where to start. Why would you limp preflop and be super sneaky and then fold when you get the action you wanted ??
I raise pf, (as played) bet 2/3p on flop, pot it and call push on turn. |

Re: 5.50 FT | AA in this situation
never slowplay aces! raise 2.5BB, bet pot flop, call push, looks like SD/FD + pair or something

Re: 5.50 FT | AA in this situation
i agree with never limping aces at this buyin level ( i play at the same level or slightly higher) because by limping you have more opponents that can outflop you - at a 5,5 dollar sngs normally there are enough peole that will call your raise with crap hands - so raise please imo

Re: 5.50 FT | AA in this situation
i would raise sb say minraise or 2.5xbb, i rarely limp this at 60/120.

Re: 5.50 FT | AA in this situation
Limping with AA is almost always a bad idea.
In this situation you are beat by 96, 93, 63, 95, 65, 53, 78, 74, 42, 99, 66, 55, 33 - most, if not all of these hands would have been folded pre-flop if you had put in a raise |

Re: 5.50 FT | AA in this situation
well don't get me wrong, this is probably the only time i've limped aces since i started playing online again. i just wondered if anyone thinks that the fold was correct or that i prolly had him beat. i was thinking 2 pair.
