Default BvB NL200 - This one confused me

Full Tilt Poker - No Limit Hold'em Cash Game - $1/$2 Blinds - 6 Players - (LegoPoker HH Converter)

SB: $197.00
Hero (BB): $280.15
UTG: $536.90
MP: $264.00
CO: $191.25
BTN: $187.15

Reads: Villian has normalish stats of 17/12 or so, but seems to play donkish/wierd. 2 hands of note on him are when he 4 bet shoved AK for 110BB's IP, and another where he minraised 88, called a 3 bet and called one street on connected monoyone flop.

I have no idea what to make of his turn c/r. TBH I kinda wanted to fold but that seemed to weaksause. Is folding to the river psb ok after I call the turn? I felt lost in this one.

Also, sometimes I 3bet pf, sometimes I call. W/E.

Preflop: Hero is dealt J[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] K[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] (6 Players)
4 folds, SB raises to $8.00, Hero calls $6.00

Flop: ($16) 5[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] J[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] A[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] (2 Players)
SB checks, Hero checks

Turn: ($16) K[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] (2 Players)
SB checks, Hero bets $12.00, SB raises to $38.00, Hero calls $26.00

River: ($92) 7[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] (2 Players)
SB bets $89.00, Hero folds
Uncalled bet of $89.00 returned to SB

Pot Size: $92.00 ($3 Rake)

Weird, I played a hand almost exactly like this today and it blew my mind too.

So far as I can tell this has to be either a monster or a bluff, so KJ is pretty much the same as A5 or J2.

I dunno, I guess this is a bizarrely played monster most of the time, but TAGs do surprise me the amount of spewy bluffing they/we do.

Yeah agree 100% that this is monstor or a bluff almost always.

Can I fold river if I call the turn? Or am I better off just folding the turn then? I guess I dunno how often I should expect villian to follow through on the river after the turn c/r.

Only hand i could put villian on that you were ahead of was K [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] X [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], but you got the K of clubs, so i say GF cause you're behind a hell of a lot here.

Yeah, I tried to put him on a range and my head almost asploded. You figure he bets the flop with a FD (esp b/c he raised pf)? I dunno...strange hand.

I agree this is a monster or bluff and not a thin value bet, but given the hand was played I think this is a bluff from a decent player a large % of the time. I think I'd call this.

Really doubt this is a bluff... at least from my experience most people don't start wildly bluffing after they choose not to cbet the flop. I think this looks a lot like 10Q or a weird slowplayed set.

3-bet this PF, and I like raising the turn to 100 or so.
