Default queens on the bubble prove my roomate wrong

Plz only reply if you know what you are talking about. My roomate doesn't see why this is a bad call with QQ. Most people will call with QQ here, but my point is that it isnt a correct play mathematically and strategically. If someone could do a SnGPT or Pokerstove on this I am interested in the output.

Sklansky's Tournaments for Advanced Players: Folding Aces chapter refers to this also.

Thanks

I'm not sure YOU know what you're talking about.

Edit: You edited post. BTW, I hate your call with T6 there.

My gut says it's close. Not sure shorty is short enough to fold QQ here.

I think your head is in the right spot with why you think he should fold QQ. And in some situations, it certainly is the right play, but if you've been vv aggressive, he's got close to 70-75% equity or so vs your hand range. A double up would put him in great position to win the tournament. I dont' have sngpt on this computer, but I really think a call is fine here on his part.

QQ is about the easiest call you can make even if villain is pushing fairly tight TT+, AJs+, AQo. They don't get any easier then this. +5.3%

Wow. It's THAT good of a call? I thought it'd be much closer.

My bad, I read the output wrong, just woke up. This is a fold. -1.9%.

If he's tight? What about if he's pushing 60% or so.
