Default KT steal attempt,

BB seemed a decent player 38/16/1.5 over around 60 hands

Went for the steal, got popped back and then hit a piece of the flop, how bad was calling this down?

It's not technically a steal if there is a limper already in the pot.

Wasn't bad at all. Against some I'd pop it somewhere, depending on how aggressive they are and how often they call down with a second best hand in a steal situation.

I would have folded pre-flop.

I thought about raising the turn here, but there's plenty of hands he could have that beat you. I think calling down is good.

You sir are tight. KT on the button with a limper in front. Seems like a good spot for a position/isolation raise to me. Am I wrong here?

Holding KT on the button, I will usually raise one open-limper.

I raise this river against most players here as your pair of kings is good most of the time. I like the other 3 streets, does not seem any point in raising before the end. Whether or not you can fold to a 3 bet depends a lot on your read.

I take it you believe Queens or King-lower kicker are calling the raise enough to make it worthwhile?

Well, not be nit-picky, but it wasn't a steal b/c utg had already called.

I like the call down -- a case of letting the oop player bet your hand for you. Not sure about the river play. I guess calling is right, but I question whether a raise would have been better -- not sure if this "decent player" calls a raise with anything less than TP, better kicker.
