Default ability to see a villian\'s mucked cards...

wasn't sure where to post this, but this seems like as good a place as any as i expect the answer to this question to be a simple one.

i just subscribed to isura's poker blog to watch his videos, and when he is 2-tabling 1-2 NL on stars, i noticed that after a hand in which he wasn't involved, he was able to immediately view the board, the winning hand, as well as the losing hand that was mucked. how is this possible? and how can i get it?

i guess my question is, how is that cool? if you are beaten and you muck, you still leave opponent guessing what your cards were, and for those with the pokerace software to be able to pay to see mucked cards and those who don't have that, doesn't that constitute some lopsided unfairness e.g. future hand reads?
