Re: 1/2 JJ vs lag
wow this certainly seems like a bluff. i have never been a sheriff at the poker tables, but if i was this would certainly be a time to catch the criminals. i am weak though so i would fold.

Re: 1/2 JJ vs lag
I think you'll see 78 and a terribly played set enough for this to be a fold.
Also turn bet seems a little small. |

Re: 1/2 JJ vs lag
I call the river bet. Villain river bet looks like a desperation move. Donkey tries to bluff with an all-in move. Villain probably put you on a draw on the flop, and he thought he could make you laid your hand with an all-in move. Easy call the river bet.

nope, sorry bud, but after bettin 2 streets there's no way this guy is bluffing us. [/ QUOTE ] this can't be true. There is definitely a percentage of the time he is on hearts. |

[/ QUOTE ] You're right, there's a chance he's bluffing us, but I think in in the long run we can't call this bet for profit. |

Re: 1/2 JJ vs lag
If it was my hand, I would have played it as follows...
Deal: Same as you played it. Flop: Push. Turn: Bet half the pot and fold to a reraise. River: Fold to his push. |
