Re: WPT Borgata Poker Classic thread
I was just walking past the TV and heard them interview one of them about how he got to the final table, and he said something like, "I was lucky to be at a table with Jamie Gold, and he played terribly and gave away all his chips, some of them to me."

Re: WPT Borgata Poker Classic thread
Chuck really seemed extremely afraid of getting bluffed on TV.

[/ QUOTE ] I can understand being uncomfortable on TV, but they were heads-up by this point, and to make a mistake like that, just wow. I'll never understand how someone who not only just played like he did, but to expose your cards in that fashion, make a major TV final table. I laughed my ass off when Michael talked about Jamie Gold coming to his table and how bad he played. |

Re: WPT Borgata Poker Classic thread
That was truly horrible. Only complicated by calling the all-in bet! WTF??? The guy has SEEN your cards -- the ONLY thing that you can beat is a bluff, but you call off all your chips anyway. Wow.

Re: WPT Borgata Poker Classic thread
I loved when Michael Sukonik said he was thankful that Jamie Gold was at his first table because he played so horribly and gave him most of his chips.

Calling all-in when opponent knows what you have, awesome.
