Blind battle rivered two pair
Villain is a regular, I haven't seen him much but he seems very aggressive. My image is probably tight PF (like 19/15) but overly aggressive postflop. Is a river shove too thin? Would it be better with more money back? I felt that he'd check A9 and worse aces on the turn fwiw, maybe AT.

Re: Blind battle rivered two pair

Re: Blind battle rivered two pair
I dislike preflop and hate turn.
I also don't see much point in a river push, he never folds better (well, maybe he'd fold queens up, I doubt it though) and he has more better hands than worse hands in his calling range. |

Re: Blind battle rivered two pair
This is an interesting one, as he must think your most likely holding is an A, which he play indicates that he believes he outkicks. I think with 4 players I would shove here pretty much all the time, as you'll usually get called by AK, AJ and AT, all of which would play the previous streets the same way.
You're probably only losing to AQ or 77, as I think AA or QQ usually checks the turn for a CRAI (having said that, his small flop bet is a bit suspicious, and might smell a little of AA). |
