Re: 25nl AQo preflop linecheck
UTG is now pot committed...If you don't hit you can't surely check and let him go ai to take it away from you?!

Re: 25nl AQo preflop linecheck
Umm this only works as a good line if you want to play for his stack. I don't mind it against shorty's cause ill take ,what i would consider a bit of an overly aggressive line in the SB to an UTG raiser, a shot to get him off the table.

Re: 25nl AQo preflop linecheck
yeah, most villains are pushing the flop in this spot. The 3bet is a must from the sb against an utg raiser, so I'd have to call his flop push.
Also, in the future, I tend to leave tables where most stacks aren't > $20 at 25 NL. |

But bullying shortstacks can be so much fun. Especially if your 8-tabling and jsut wanna mess around a bit on one.

But even in this circumstance, he's so short that I'd be happy to get it in against him. And shortstacks at uNL are usually donking their money away, so one-two of them at a table where the rest of the stacks are full or bigger doesn't really bother me much because it's easier to play perfectly against their range. |

Re: 25nl AQo preflop linecheck
This is a good way to isolate the PFR, but you have to be willing to stack off on just about any flop. Given that you'll be ahead a fair amount of the time I think its okay, but its a high variance play. Probs +EV tho.
