Borgata has the nicest environment and the highest stakes games. Harrah's owned casinos (Showboat, Caesar's, Harrah's) have a bad beat jackpot. The rake (barring a few differences) is typically the same around town.

If you like tourneys, the best place is the Taj. 12:15, 6:15 and midnight. 100$ per tourney. Caesars is probably second for tourneys. Cash games are pretty good at the Taj too although I agree with the other poster that Borgata is probably a little nicer environment.

Structure is awful for the taj midnight tournament, others are okay. Cash games are pretty good there. Borgata is nicer with more drunk partiers fishing. Both are nice rooms though.

Search the B&M forum.

But briefly:
- Rake is basically the same everywhere by law.
- Harrah's casinos and Hilton have BBJP. No BBJP at Taj/Trop/Borgata.
- If you are looking to play 1/2 NL or 2/4 & 3/6 Limit you can go anywhere. For higher stakes, Taj, Trop, and Borg are basically your only choices.
- Borgata is by far the nicest room. Hilton is 2nd IMO.
- Borgata is really the only place to go for tournaments. The tournament structures at Taj and Caesars are terrible; I don't know how someone could recommend them.

Let me try again. Yes the midnight Taj runs very fast. I think that is a 50$ tourney, but you get double chips to start. But it is the only game in town at midnight. Usually a nice field though.

As for tourneys on the boardwalk, you have your choice. You can play the Taj quick structure and play with around 60-70 players in the summer and 30-40 in the winter OR you can play Hilton, Showboat, etc. and play with about 20 players in a slower stucture. If you want to make money, play with the older crowd in the fast tournament at the Taj. If you want to sit and play all day to maybe make your money back, play elsewhere. I got to agree though, that the Borgata tourneys are nice, especially the Friday Guaranteed.

The only other nice tournament on the boardwalk is Caesars. As for the Hilton, I signed up for a 7500$ guarnateed tourney at AC Hilton and 12 people signed up. Needless to say the tourney was cancelled and that long walk to the end of the boardwalk was a complete waste of time. I've never gone back after that experience.
