Nut flush, paired board facing overbet allin.
My apologies if this is totally standard. I had a horrendous night on Wednesday (run bad followed up by monkey tilt) and last night I was questioning *everything* I did. Don't have access to PT stats but villain here is not someone i've been playing with long at all, 40-50 hands tops. He is not terrible, but not good either. I just took a nice chunk of change from him when I bet flop, turn and river with a set and he looked me up with top pair. Based on the few hands since then I suspect he is looking to play back at me and double up quickly but he may just have had a few big hands.
Standard pf raise and continuation bet. Check the turn to avoid any nasty traps. Anyone fire again? River? Re: Nut flush, paired board facing overbet allin.
Instacall this river, if he has a boat so be it. It cannot possibly put you on a flush, it looks like a slow played Q or a lower flush.
Also, against a straight forward player (not a maniac that c/r a lot and not a calling station who never folds) I bet the turn always as we have a lot of FE against villain range. |

i'd have a really hard time not betting the turn [/ QUOTE ] believable scare card + new outs = bet call river, since he doesn't put you on a flush and is vbetting trips or worse |

Re: Nut flush, paired board facing overbet allin.
Thank you all.
Enough responses. I did call and was shown 55 for the flopped fh. I think this is probably a fold with a low flush but with the A high flush it is a call. I bust him not long after. |
