NL25 - 2nd barrel or check behind?
Villain's been pretty TAGgy thus far, over only 15 hands or so.

As played, should I fire a 2nd barrel here on this K turn, w/o a real read? |

Two overs + position = always cbet vs unknowns
Definately checking and not 2 barrelling that turn. Wait till you have a read ... or even a hand! |

I bet this turn, thats a great scare card and you fold out a lot of his range. Given that you have only 15 hands I probably wouldn't do it just yet but its definitely a decent spot to double barrel.

Re: NL25 - 2nd barrel or check behind?
I like a check as well as a bet on the turn.
Reasons to check: You picked up a straight draw that might win you a decent size pot on the river, should you make it. Also you have A-high against an unknown. Reasons to bet: What ama said. |

Re: NL25 - 2nd barrel or check behind?
I think checking this flop is fine and cbetting this flop are both fine and I would do both depending on the game conditions. As played I would 2nd barrel the turn, its a good card and it also gives you a gutshot to the nut straight.

Re: NL25 - 2nd barrel or check behind?
This is a good turn card to bet. Every PP will be dumped, every big hand will make a move. You just picked up a gutshot draw and you still have an overcard, so your bet is a semi-bluff by definition.
The flop is a little meh for a cbet against 2 opponents, because there is a good chance that someone has in some way connected to this and peels. I don't cbet when I've been active and feel like I get called a lot on the table. |
