Valuebet on river?
Villain is 27/12 (small sample size). Only note I got on him is that he checkcalls draws.
http://www.pokerhand.org/?1189444 what to do on the river? raise and get value from QJ, KJ? |

Re: Valuebet on river?
This is pretty close. I don't think it matters much in the long run call and push are so close.

Re: Valuebet on river?
bet again on the turn for value and protection.
as played, I'd just call the river. you may have induced a bluff, which is great, but there's no value in a raise. Or he may have called the flop with T9 or a set and missed his turn c/r. Or he may have a weaker jack, in which case, he can probably get away from a raise. |

Re: Valuebet on river?
The action on the turn followed by the villain's river bet makes me think he might be semi-bluffing the river, but he could also have a weak J or a slowplayed straight. You beat 2/3 of villain's range, but really get very little value from a raise here; I just call.
