Default theory q

say you sit down at a table with a bunch a couple of regs who are multitabling, but you are only playing this table, maybe one other guy only playing one table, maybe two, but most are playing 6-8 tables and you know them to be tags/solid/predictable.

is your first thought to be raising everytime it's up to you to open, regardless of cards, or do you just play solid?

basically are you trying to exploit the fact that their attention is split between a couple of tables or do play a more 'normal' game picking your spot w/ decent to good hands and such.

Uh it's not like 8-tablers don't notice if you play 100% of your hands...

try and exploit it. obviously raising 100% is no good, but raising a little more than usual is good.

I always play any 2, regardless of multitablers or not.

I don't know why you would want to play more hands against solid multi-tablers? You should be going after the fish (loose/passive) players.

I play 4-6 tables and I will notice if someone starts playing back at me more. So personally I think this 'theory q' or what not, does'nt hold any weight.

Tight aggressive players are winning players at NL. Pick your spots. don't get tied up in playing back at them because you believe it could be an advantage to you. It's not part of your normal strategy so why start now. more often then not you'll get yourself in to trouble. You might pick up a few pots but what's the point playing with fire if you get caught and losing a substantial pot if your starting hand isn't that strong. ex. Having bottom 2 pair and ending up in a showdown when normally you wouldn't start with that type of hand.

the ability to change gears is a pretty important part of a strong poker player. When table circumstances call for play that is not your "standard play" then you are only helping yourself by adjusting to a style that is more +ev

since they probebly have PAHUD you can't do that for very long before you are noticed. But you should be able to pick up there betting patterns easier than they pick up yours.
