$100 entry the seat is worth $535.

so figure you need to get to 5x1500 = 7500, but at the end you have to play smart and pay attention to where/how big the blinds will be.

How would you "coast in" when a tournament hasn't even begun yet?

I always run into problems near the bubble on these MTT.

If I am just slightly "inside" but there are still another 15-20% to drop. I never know what to do especially when the blind is rearing its ugly head!

Suppose, for example, you are 70th out of 90 with 80 places qualifying. Pray or push? (or both)

Try not to get to 70th in the first place. You should be in push/fold mode and have a read on everyone at your table. Get chips by open pushing with a wide range and ideally into medium/biggish stacks who don't have to risk it by calling a push with TT. You do have to tighten significantly against short stacks and idiot big stacks b/c they'll call wide.

At 70/90 it'll be close but picking up the blinds on one or two more hands will get you over the hump.

Thx.

Lost A9s to AQo for half my stack and then had to go all-in with K3s before the blinds did me in.

So near and yet so far ...............

Oh well - there's always WSOP 2008

So apparently you can't unregister from the 535 after winning a seat...rigged
