Is this a cooler?
READ THIS YOU LAZY AHOLES haha
Live 1-2, second hand at table, I'm in small blind, I limp with A3 off, 6 other limpers. The flop is a rainbow with a 2 and a 4 (and a queen), I check and it gets checked around. The turn is a 5, I bet out 20 dollars (accidentally, I meant to bet 15) into a 14 dollar pot. I get one caller in late position. The river is a seven. I bet out 25 dollars, get reraised 25, and call. I lose to a higher straight-guy had 36. I guess I lost the minimum, probably shouldn't have limped with A3, but it was live and I was excited to play. Would you guys slowplay the turn? |

Re: Is this a cooler?
the error was limping preflop...the straight potential in A2 A3 A4 is more of a negative than a positive I think...as they often lead you to a second best hand straight in limped pots like this one.
