CWS Bracket


Both finalists from last year (UNC and Oregon St.) have made it back. The Beavers upset the Heels last year by winning two straight against Carolina.

UNC is starting off well, just now scoring 6 runs in the bottom of the 6th to take an 8-to-4 lead over Mississippi St. (ESPN2)

Rice beat Louisville earlier today 15-to-10.

I need to get there. I grew up in Cincinnati so naturally am a huge fan of the game.

That Ville game really broke my heart. I am a huge Ville fan, obviously. I give all the credit in the world to Rice though, they played hard all 9 innings.

I went to the UNC/MSU game yesterday. Was a fun time. I don't normally enjoy baseball, but the CWS experience is a good one. It's a fun environment and I definitely recommend it to anyone. (I live in omaha). Probably will make it out there to another game or two.

As I said before I went to Oregon but we don't have baseball so I actually cheer for OSU in baseball. It's fairly common for duck fans since a lot of their players are from Oregon.

Nice win for Oregon State yesterday. Their pitching has been ok although they would be better off not getting into jams before getting out of them obviously.

These last two wins were the first time they've ever won a non-elimination game in the college world series. One win from returning to the final.
