Why would you consider folding to a push. If he has the case 8 on that flop you pay him off. If he play KK like that you pay him off, other wise he has a K or a flush draw and if he has one of those hands a fold is horrible. That is a dream flop for your hand.

I can't imagine doing anything other than getting it all in on the flop and pumping my fist. It would take a crazy read to get away from this hand, and if his range is big enough to include a hand like K8, then he probably plays draws like this as well, and maybe any King. It would be almost impossible to narrow someones range to exactly KK or a bigger 8 here.

Had the flop been a rainbow of suits, then maybe against the right villian you can make an arguement for assuming that you hand is no good, but in most every case you go broke with an 8 on this board, even if it is 82.

So did your fist hit the wall on the flop or on the river?

you're talking about this particular villain right? because in a multiway, you can fold your bad kicker pretty easily here...

also, your 3-bet on the flop is way too huge. you bumped his min raise to almost 4.5x his flop min raise. against most player you're only getting called by better hands. also, you're not looking for a fold, i would shove to put yourself on a draw, just raise to 10.

any disagreement's with the bet size? 13 just looks really, really big here.

Yep.

If you don't want to ride the variance wave, fold this preflop.

Does nobody go for the check-raise here?

Sure, you don't want to let in a flush draw but with five players to act behind you someone's going to bet this flop.

If 3-bet I would consider folding.
