He's thiiiiiiiis--><--close to BUSTO and playing poorly because of it; Lee Jones, overall nice guy, just signed him up as a Pokerstars Pro today so DN could scrape up a little coin...
i hear he's down to his last $10K, and is just gunna wait for the ME and gambool up in hopes of one big score...

Anyone who has read his blogs on a regular basis knew that he was not going to have a good series. He just doesn't have the mental stamina that others have - for whatever reason, he appears burnt out.
He is certainly not close to the player he was a couple years ago, not sure if this is because he got overconfident and doesn't work hard anymore or if there are just a ton of other good players that have joined the pro ranks that play better than he does. Not cashing so far this year in the series is pretty awful considering he has played several non-holdem events which he claims are better events for him.

When was the last time he made a final table?

[/ QUOTE ] Daniel is a great player, no doubt. His trouble is he is compared to 2003 or 2004 when he seemingly won all the time. He has only 1 win since 2004 I think.

Perhaps I'm reading too much into his blog but it seems like he is always tired, doesn't want to be at the table, gets bored easily, always complains about the structure, etc.
The great ones rise up and face the challenge; to me, it seems he just wants to be playing golf or the Wii. Maybe being a part of Poker Stars will re-motivate him?

THEY got films of his play and he doesn't have films of those young internet players' play.
