WSOP Events 35 and 38
Both $1500 NLHE events. One on a Thursday one on a Saturday.
If you could only play one, which? And why? Also care of make a guess at the number of runners in each?

I'm making this same choice and have tenatively picked #38. There was another thread here that asked a similiar question. Raymer and possibly others guessed that the Saturday tournament would have a softer, larger field than the weekday tournament. IIRC the rationale was that the less hardcore player was likely to pick the weekend tournament due to easier scheduling with real life.

I had the same choice and picked 35 for the same reasons given above "tournament (38) would have a softer, larger field ".
I prefer to play with a somewhat stronger field. Anyone else feel this way?
