Default Live $80, isolate or bail?

Live $80 MTT that only got 10 entrants + alternate, so I guess it's really a STT question.

This is only the fourth hand, but BB has already donked off most of his stack with very weak holdings.

BB: 575
EP: ~2000
Hero (MP3): 2000 A [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] J [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]
Button: ~2000

EP limps, Hero raises to 250, Button calls, BB shoves, EP folds, Hero ?

I'd hate to go out so early with a hand as crap as AJs, but a shove should get Button off of his most likely holdings, except maybe AK or rarely a very clever and trappy AA/KK, right? Folding to the BB seems insane. Calling puts me out of position for a huge pot in the best scenario.

(Also, in retrospect the PFR looks a little big/weak. Anyone raise to 175-225? Limp along?)

Edit: Blinds 25/50; sorry, 2p2 noob.

folding is not an option.
calling sux cuz you will be oop, and button would have re-raised with most hands that have you crushed.

re-shove and isolate.

Are all 10 players still in the tourny? If so, depending on your position I might limp or fold pf instead of raising. If you choose to raise, I'd raise to no more than $200, because if a bigger stack re-raises you're going to fold. If you're in early position, I think a lot of posters here would tell you to fold. I'd fold some of the time and limp the rest from early position.

As played, I like a push.

With ur position I would either limp or standard 3bb raise, dependant upon table dynamics (only 4th hand so???) Definitely never 5bb open raise.

Calling sucks, so push to isolate and hope the button folds leaving some dead money in the pot.

I don't think a standard 3BB will do what I want here: With the EP limper, and the usual loose-passive play in the first level, 150 will just ensure multiple callers--including the BB, who I want shoving. Though you're all right that 250 is too much; 200 looks right to me now. Thanks for the replies.

I'd bet 150 pre.

As played, I'd call because the flat caller is getting 2.3:1 to call your push. Plus, if you push and get called by the flat caller, you're going to lose a big pot. If you push and he folds you're only winning an extra 250.
