Default telling the difference between fake and real smiles

I was pretty surprised when i took this test and only got 60% right ): I really thought I was pretty good in finding out if someone is being genuine or not. o well variance.
I tried to look for indicators of the smiles being forced and got plenty of them wrong.

Is anyone else easily fooled by the fake smiles in this test?

I got 14/20, so... 70%

Not awful I guess. That was an interesting test, some of the people just looked bizarre though. There were at least one or two alien lookalikes lol

14/20

meh I think half of the ones they marked "Genuine" aren't really genuine. Who decided they were real smiles anyway? [censored] it. everyone's faking everything.

14/20. Would be easier with a larger selection of more normal looking people I think.

Starting test right now.

The first two Q's involving 'overall outlook on life' and 'confidence level in distinguishing fake/genuine' are kind of weird though.

I rated myself 2nd highest on optimism and 2nd lowest on confidence I can tell the smiles apart.

Ha ha. I suck. I was just guessing most of the time.

10/20

Almost all of them looked fake to me but I tried to pick out a few that I thought might be genuine because I knew the test wouldn't be so silly as to have 100% fakes.

13/20 and I even knew exactly what to look for, as they described at the very end.
