completely standard. flop call is a little shady, but you must have had some reads. once you catch 2nd pair you're ready. he's calling w/ a lot worse hands than pocket nines.

So you lost the hand. If your read was that u had the best hand and went for it, what are you
gonna do. If you played your gut, that’s usually always best.

Otherwise, if you did have some hesitation, depending on chip stacks, if I feel that I’m +EV on
my opponent and could comeback after being down to $600 or against real tighties as low as $400(once again, depending on size of blinds) and I’m unsure, I might just fold the hand and grind it out.

In your case, it looks like the blinds were relatively low, so if you had any doubts, folding does not sound all that fatal. But once again, it would be your mistake if you had any doubts as to the strength of your hand.

If he's potting draws all the time and doesn't purely bluff a lot then you fold here.

I don't think there are many 6 dollar players that fit that description though, so you played it fine.

Just think of what he has done OOP (when doing that silly min 3-bet PF) and put him on a range of hands. If you're ahead of the range of hands that he's going to get in on the turn, you made the right play. If he's bluffing some of the time you still probably want to get it in because the liklihood that he hits a few outs he has/doesn't bet the river b/c he missed and is scared to bet is too high. Basically if he's bluffing you still want to shove the turn IMO.
