Re: full tilt 90 person $5, AKo tough spot
if you are going to reraise preflop you must shove this flop.
You also should have known that you were shoving any flop when you made the pf raise |

??? shoving 3x the Pot is considerd standard? [/ QUOTE ] By shoving the flop, you are turning it into a 3 card hand. 7Q7 flop is a good flop because villain will have a hard time calling this flop if he doesn't have a Q or KK+. He won't have the opportunity to see the other 2 cards. I never make this play because it seems very spewy, but I guess the big shots do this play all the time. |

??? shoving 3x the Pot is considerd standard? [/ QUOTE ] It is not really shoving 3x pot as villian only has about 2.8k left so in fact is just over a psb and is the ONLY play here unless you want to check/fold to villain shove which i do not advocate. |

Re: full tilt 90 person $5, AKo tough spot
Put him all-in. Even though the flop sucks (i.e. a good player is less likely to believe you hit), you can get some small pairs to fold. In a $5, I can't give the villain any credit for a big pair.
If the villain has AA or KK, make a note for future reference. |
