Default The WSOP DVD for 2005 or 2006, Will there ever be one ?

Last year ESPN released the 2004 DVD is there going to be a 2005 or 2006 DVD. I figured if they were going to do it it would be about WSOP time (Just in time for Fathers day..)

Has ESPN decided not to do DVD's anymore ?

Apparently. I ordered Raymer's year from espn and they still send me emails cause I'm too lazy to get removed from the list. Anyway if new wsop discs were coming I would have heard about them in a subject line.

The market for poker-related merchandise DVD's in the U.S. and Canada peaked in 2004, when TV ratings peaked.

The one country on earth where I would expect DVD's of TV programs to be offered in 2007 would be Germany, which is peaking RIGHT NOW with the 2007 Christmas selling season being the one in which everyone in Germany who wants to buy poker-related products will have gotten everything they need.

I was talking to a woman who was working on a new poker strategy book on Thursday. I told her to publish the first edition (due 2008) in Spanish, Italian, Polish, and Russian instead of English or German because she would have missed the peak of both English-speaking and German-speaking markets by the time the book is ready for the 2008 Christmas selling season.
