To all of you saying hand 1 is spew, you need to think about hand reading a little more.

Hero raised the button after CO posted and checked. Hero's range for doing this is wider than the grand canyon at this point.

SB knows this, and SB is DEFINATELY capable of 3-betting light given his stats.

SB's range is absolutely huge, WAY bigger than 88+ and big aces. WAY bigger. He's going to bet the flop with nearly all of his hands.

Saying it isn't good because it is 100NL is just plain arrogance. a 25/20 is more than capable of squeezing the button raise (especially when CO posted that hand) with a very wide range, and he has to fold nearly all of this wide range when Hero pushes.

Bilbo,
I agree with what you said about Hand 1. I think people are letting the fact that Hero was called affect their reasoning and judgement.

hand 1 feels std at 200NL, but seems iffy here. I don't contest that you played it wrong by any means, but I'd feel sick about it.

hand 2 feels donkish pretty much the whole way. I'm sure it would work at higher levels, but I bet he seriously had your nuts.
