Default seven-deuce bounty (low content)

seven-deuce bounty is the greatest game ever. some of the sickest hands i've ever seen went down while we had the bounty on. last night in the 25-50-100 game at bellagio i saw 72o put 10k aipf against KK. good times.

(ps: feel free to move or lock this, fsu/azk.)

you get extra bounty money if you win a hand with 72.

In this years HSP the ol 72 game cost me around 35k. I got off cheap though, some others lost a lot more. What was really odd was that the bounty was such a small amount relative to the Blinds/antes. The bounty was 500 a person and the game was 300-600 with a 100 ante. I am not sure if the cameras made people play a little differently (you look especially nitty if you don't open with 72 when the bounty is on) or if it was just machismo but it made for some interesting poker.

details of this are hazy...but playing 50-100 at bellagio during 5 diamond with deuce-seven bounty...andrew black raises preflop to 400 and kenny (?) tran calls...flop 2 5 7...kenny checks, andrew bets 1k and kenny calls...turn 9...kenny leads for 2500, black raises, tran all in for 12k more, black instacall...tran flips over 99, black looks disgusted with his 72...
