With a new Pixar movie coming out at the end of this month, I thought I'd find out which Pixar movie everyone likes. I was actually disappointed with The Incredibles and Cars. Both very good movies. But both fall short of the other Pixar movies.

I'd rank them like this
Monster's Inc. Toy Story 2 Finding Nemo Toy Story Bug's Life Cars The Incredibles My low ranking of the Incredibles is influenced by the fact that it is very violent for a kid's film and it is too long. For adults, I'd probably put it ahead of Cars. But all are (to me) a 7 or above on the imdb scale. |

I haven't seen Cars or Bug's Life. My top choice would be a toss up between Toy Story and Monsters Inc., maybe the latter.

I think A Bug's Life and Monster's Inc. are probably the weakest entries here.

I should have added that my kid's favorite is probably A Bug's Life. But she loves insects. Her least fav is The Incredibles, but only because my wife won't let her watch it. She didn't seem to like Cars much either.
But it might be an age thing. When she was 3, she would watch a movie a dozen times and not get bored of it (she's probably seen Bug's Life and the the two Toy Story movies 2 dozen times each.) But now that she's 5, she'll rarely watch a movie more than twice. So I think she's only seen the Cars DVD once and has never seen the Incredibles DVD (she only saw it in the theater). |
