Default LHE checkup, standard stuff here i hope

30-60 playing stupid aggro, lots of 3-betting etc.

i've been quiet/straight forward for the first hour or so.

UTG opens, SB 3-bets, I 4-bet QQ from the BB, UTG calls 2 cold, SB calls.

flop

6 [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]7 [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]2 [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]

SB donks, I raise, UTG 3-bets, SB calls, I call

Turn

2 [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]

SB checks, I bet, UTG calls, SB folds

River

K [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]

I check/call or do I bet/call?

UTG seemed to value bet very thin, almost like he didn't know some of his value bets were bluffs.

From what I've heard about Vegas games it sounds like one of us normies from caleeforni-A was value betting normally but the nits call down differently from all the sand in their vagina.

UTG probably has JJ or maybe the other QQ. I dunno about SB but a flush draw makes no sense for him, his donk sorta looks like 99-JJ "look no overcards I better bet".

I'd bet the river because flush draw or AK makes no sense for either of them unless UTG has AhQh exactly. I would also make more bettings on the flop but that's not a big deal I guess.

Bet/fold. I just raise the flop again and power through. Your turn donk doesn't make a ton of sense if you didn't feel your hand was good enough to reraise the flop. If UTG will not take a free card often a turn checkraise could be hot.

i dont trust vegas players to be aggro enough to screw play here (and you know i love that play). they irrationally check stuff like JJ on that turn too often.

DeathDonkey - I resect your thousands of posts and good insights on the forums. However, i think calling the flop 3-bet, and donking the turn seems to make sense.

Your kinda in a tricky spot here, either against a middle to big pair, or a draw. Against a draw (like AhKh, AhQh, KhQh) they don't mind a bit if you cap the flop, but they don't like it so much if you call the flop 3-bet and then donk the turn brick.

Against many big/middlin pair hands (whether it be KK, QQ, JJ, maybe TT, 99, or 88) you put them in an awkward spot when you donk the turn. Yes, if they have AA you're screwed. But many KK might slow down there. And maybe some with JJ or TT, 99 were planning on slowing down on the turn and getting to river cheap.

Just a thought...

Thank you Mike. Sorry, was thinking east coast.

Still, consider this if villain has AhKh (though i realize the Kh hit the river the way the hand played out). Put the SB on 99.

Equity after flop: AhKh - 51%, QQ - 39%, 99 - 10%.

Equity after turn: AhKh - 29%, QQ - 67%, 99 - 5%.

So, here villian will be happy to 5-bet the flop, and would want the turn to check through.
