I raise the flop. I will take the pot down most of the time, and will have plenty of outs if called.
I don't hate your line at all. I just play it more aggressively because of the overall style I implement at the table. |

I almost always raise the flop with the NFD.
Your line is standard vs someone who vill value bet AJ the whole way here though, no reason to try and push them off their hand if they are going to bet for you. |

am i mistaken in thinking that villain most likely has us on a fd?

Perfect situation to raise the flop.

*grunch* You GOTTA raise that turn. Look at how much money you left in your stack when he folded to your all-in raise on the river (probably). Raise the turn up to like 45. If you get reraised big or pushed, you fold. But I dont see this happening as often, and you will pick up the pot sometimes when he folds. More importantly, he wont put you on the flush when you hit it on the river, and you'll have a MUCH greater chance of doubling up.

I woulda raised flop for free turn card. As played, I like, tho I would make a river raise to like $100.

I like calling when he is giving us direct odds to do so. I like raising when he isn't so we can buy a free card on the turn if we want it.
So in this hand, I would call. |
