Okay, trying my hand at running a sheep game here. Since I got a music degree years and years ago and have done hardly anything with it (I work for an insurance company), I'll do one that's musical based, but not about popular music.

I'll take entries until sometime this weekend.

1. Name a string instrument (no fretted instruments - guitar, banjo, etc.).
2. Name an orchestra that currently performs.
3. Piano _____.
4. Name of a wind ensemble/orchestral composer who is still alive.
5. Name a percussion instrument (not a drum or cymbal).
6. Name a musical key.
7. Augmented _____.
8. Name a reed instrument (single or double).
9. Name a period (not style) in music history (see below).
10. Name an object that's primary purpose is not as a musical instrument that may be played as an instrument.

To clarify #9, there are specific periods in music history that share the same name as the predominant style for that period. Those are fine. Unacceptable answers would be something like rap or country. There is no such thing as the "rap era" or "country era" of music. Hopefully this makes sense. If you want (I don't think this is breaking any rules), PM me a possible answer for #9 (or any of the above) and I'll let you know if it's acceptable.
