SQL queries etc
As you may know from some other threads, I am messing around with some SQL queries on my PokerTracker db to try to find useful bits of information.
I don't especially want to clutter up this or any other forum with code, because it's pretty much off topic, but it seems to me that getting together to create some queries and analyse the data might be useful and interesting. So if anyone is interested in doing this away from the 2+2 forum, and of course posting interesting discoveries here, please let me know either by responding here or by PM. Suggestions as to how we might communicate could be a good thing, too. Guy. Tech note for geeks: I'm using the postgresql db in pokertracker, so my queries won't work on Access dbs and vice versa. Could become annoying if we share code. |

Re: SQL queries etc
Is this really off topic? There have to be enough people here who know SQL and use pokertracker/postgres to make this worthwhile.
I'd love to see some of the interesting queries people have come up with (heads up tournies esp) and also see other people's results for some of my own. Does something like this exist somewhere else? I checked the poker tracker forum, but that seemed to be for queries that don't work. |
