Xbox 360 or PS3? OOT expertise needed

Another OOTer and I have just each gotten a 1080p LCD TV

However, i've been searching around for a complimentary video game system, i'm trying to decide between a ps3 or an xbox 360,

i'm torn between the Elite edition of the xbox 360 and the ps3, note the improved specs on 360 (120bg HD and 1080p cable)

also, i sorta consider myself a geek, but more comp savvy than console lover, but i want one and i've had a ps2

also the game selection seems to be almost the same, but Xbox 360 has HALO 3 coming out while ps3 doesn't have any notable exclusives coming out (note GTA4 is on both)

also price isn't a big deal so should be considered not as an important factor because they are really with in 150 of each other and that's less than 1 buy in for NL200, and we are all poker ballers :-p

Also this debate has already occured in Video Games, just search for the thread. People there definitely know their games. Also, a google search will turn up like 100 articles debating the pros and cons of each system written by people in the business, consumers, forums, etc.

I have a Wii and wish I had gotten a 360 instead. Maybe when some better games come out for the Wii I'll think differently.

XBOX360 and it's not close. I have both, PS3 is good for movies but it hasnt reached anywhere near its full potential for games, and Xbox is lightyears ahead in that department, get the 360, get Gears of War, get Xbox Live and say goodbye to your life.

Honestly, the Wii is probably more fun than both of them.
