NL50 set goes bad, block turn?
Read on villain is that he is mostly a station at this point.

Re: NL50 set goes bad, block turn?
1/2 pot if he's a station should do the trick, leaves you boat outs for river and you might be able to stack him
Oh and if the flush hits you don't always have to be afraid of it, especially if you got outs to outdraw villain .. |

Re: NL50 set goes bad, block turn?
say hero bets 1/2 pot, $9 and villain raises.. easy fold against a station I guess?

Re: NL50 set goes bad, block turn?
you mean assuming he has a flush. If he shoves I'm putting in 33 to win 102, not good enough.

Re: NL50 set goes bad, block turn?
Don't think we need to fold when villain min-raises which is exactly what stations tend to do, if you hit the river then you can easily get a big piece of his stack ..

Re: NL50 set goes bad, block turn?
Bet, and slow down on the river if you don't improve? The 1/2 pot bet works since we're giving him 3:1, and we won't call a 4th diamond on the river.

Re: NL50 set goes bad, block turn?
figured this was standard. not sure if he had me beat on the turn or the river.
Turn (board: 9d 7d 2s 4d): zomglol bets $8.50. theo777 calls. River (board: 9d 7d 2s 4d Ad): zomglol checks. theo777 goes all-in for $34.90. zomglol folds. |

Re: NL50 set goes bad, block turn?
I would fold to any villain who shoved on the river, since there's a four flush out, but yeah.
