$16: AJo as CL, is this FPS?
UTG raised 2 of last 3 hands PF, table folded to him both times. UTG+1 pushes in earlier hand into 2 limpers with KJs.
PokerStars Tournament, Big Blind is t100 (9 handed) Converter on pregopoker.com UTG (t1330) UTG+1 (t715) Hero (t2880) MP2 (t800) MP3 (t1245) CO (t1150) Button (t2695) SB (t1290) BB (t1395) Preflop: Hero is in MP1 with A[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] J[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] UTG raises to t200, UTG+1 raises to t715 (All-in), Hero? Is a push a good idea here, a good idea at a higher stakes game where they are more likely to fold, or just a bad idea? What hand do you need to push here? Comments appreciated. |

Re: $16: AJo as CL, is this FPS?
A push is terrible, imo.
When someone raises 3 times in 3 or 4 hands like this, the latest raise is the biggest hand of the bunch a surprising amount. I'd need AQs+, AK+, TT+ to push. |

Agreed.
Too many players yet to act + marginal hand = fold IMO. |

[/ QUOTE ] Actually I wasn't worried about his hand as much as the all-in player; his stack gives him no FE so he's more likely to have a big hand. Maybe I'm overthinking/misapplying some concepts here after reading some of Gigabets posts. If UTG folds and I lose to UTG+1 I'm not in such bad shape but if I take down this pot I'm a much bigger chip leader. But AJo is probably too weak here I guess. |
