I'm betting somewhere more than a quarter of the pot and folding to a shove, maybe, depends on the read, like if he'll shove if you bet small on the river.

a float! is this a bad board for it? will i get raised off a lot so i should check behind the str8 draw? when i do that i get tons of pots stolen also and when i hit the pot is smaller. isnt one of my bread and butter play thats why im working on it now.

I'd check behind the turn. If the villain made his flush then why didn't he bet? Is he too trappy for his own good? All you have to do is check behind and all his implied odds are gone.
You have however shown you'll play back and he's probably expecting you to bet. Check behind IMO. If he's got the flush you don't need to pay him and if he doesn't he'll still probably make you call an all in. Your turn bet suggests you've got something other than a flush draw which will make him think he can buy the pot from you here. Its nasty and not the play I'd like to make but go ahead and check behind. Again, usual disclaimer, fairly green so please correct but if you feel the need to do so please justify it clearly so I can learn |

This is tricky. Villain is just aggressive enough to probably make me chicken out.
