Worldwide Brands Charges a $299 fee to search drop shippers.
I would like to contact some shippers directly without the middle man. As far a products go, I am not real picky. Sporting goods, name brand knives, anything high quality high mark up.

I've done a lot of research on this topic but I can still be wrong. I decided not to pursue dropshipping as a 2nd business because it was going to take too much time away from my primary business.
What I do know is that there are MANY dropshippers out there who act like nothing but middlemen. Basically, you pay them a fee to sign up to their dropshipping service, you order a product to dropship whereever, they order product from wholesaler, wholesaler dropships product. I read an extensive article saying all "dropshippers" that: 1) Charge you signup fees 2) isn't a wholesaler 3) Doesn't have their own warehouse 4) doesn't require you to have a Tax ID Are mostly pseudo dropshippers. I can be wrong though since I have never done this business.

DBL Distributing is on it, as well as D&H, who was also good, but a bit more time-consuming to deal with; however, D&H offered PCs and PC components/accessories, while DBL did not. I'm not sure if this is still the case. From my limited experience, you would get something very similar to this list paying $299 to Worldwide Brands, so PM Slacker.
