to hit golf balls, what would it look like? (dont say tiger woods) im guessing it would resemble a pool cue, i firing pin which would strike the ball in the most efficient manner.

i think your pool cue idea has merit. it could be programmed to hit from different angles to produce various types of spin(draw, fade, backspin, topspin). maybe even different surfaces on the "cue" to increase and decrease the types of spin you impart on the ball.

[/ QUOTE ] in addition to various surfaces, the part of the machine that impacts the ball would probably need to have various size/shapes, right? what if your ball is in the sand, rough, etc. or are we just thinking tee shots? |
