Default How bad is this call? 27 turbo

How bad is this call.

UTG (t3495)
CO (t1050)
Button (t3775)
SB (t2985)
Hero (t2195)

Preflop: Hero is in BB with 6[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] 6[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]
<font color="gray">UTG folds</font>, <font color="gray">CO folds</font>, <font color="gray">Button folds</font>, <font color="red">SB raises to t2985 (All-in)</font>, Hero calls t1995 (All-in

At first I thouhgt I would be in a flip situation and needed to double up to raise my chances of making the money and winning. Now I think the call is jsut silly and I could have picked much bettter spots. I people could explain why it is so bad and not jsut say "bad call", like give some strategy.

Sometimes it's a call more times it's a fold.

This is read dependent. Against a good solid player, I'd snap call this. Against your typical donk who isn't pushing wide enough here, I'd fold.

Hi, can you pleas explain why this would be an easy call against a good solid player and a fold against a Donk? Thanks

Because the donk usually only raise / push good hands (Ax, small pp, KT+ ...)

Ah, cos they dont understand about loosening up towards the end whereas someone who knows what they are doing will apply pressure with medium hands?
