UTG has been at the table for 30 hands and has done nothing memorable UTG+1 has been at the table with me since the start of the tournament. We had a previous hand in the 15/30 level where he limped pf in the highjack and I raised with 9Ts. He check called the KK7r flop and check-called the 2 on the turn which brought his flush draw. He checked the river when he made his flush and I checked behind with my whiffed 3 barrel bluff (also 9Ts). I know that he is capable of calling to take the pot away on a later street if he senses weakness. Aside from that hand he has been splashing around a lot and had been picking up a lot of hands on the turn and river without showdown. Avg stack is 3250. UTG - 2,400 UTG+1 - 6,000 Hero - 3,000 Hero has TT UTG+2. Blinds are 30/60 Preflop: UTG raises to 180, UTG+1 calls, Hero calls, everyone else folds. Flop (630): A[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] T[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] 2[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] UTG checks, UTG+1 checks, Hero bets 630, UTG folds, UTG+1 calls. Turn (1890): 3[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] UTG+1 checks, Hero checks this is a read dependent play but I felt that he was likely to fire any river. Obviously I would kick myself if the J[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] fell but I am planning on probably calling a spade river River: 7[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] UTG+1 bets 1200, hero shoves for 1,000 more. |

Play looks good for inducing a bluff, but against a flush draw it seems iffy. Yea, he may bluff like he probably did on this river when you showed weakness on the turn, but if the spade hits on the river its a hard spot to be in. If he bets out on the river its either a bluff or a flush most of the time, as most of his calling range on the flop has showdown value.

i definitely don't do this in a $100 donkament of which is a freezeout. people call too much to only get 2 bets in w/ a set.

I think this looks good. There is no reason to think he has 2 spades, so even if a 3rd spade falls on the river, the only thing I'd probably do differently is call his river bluff rather than going over the top allin.
Betting the turn probably gets him to fold AJ or AQ and we don't want him to fold those hands. I would say a check is good for that reason. |

Don't like this at all, I would definitely bet the turn there is very little chance he folds.
He obviously called 600 on the flop with something. You think this random guy is now going to fold for 600-1000 on the turn when the pot is much bigger? Then once he calls the turn hes almost pot committed on the river. I think it's clear that you should bet the turn. |

Why are you show playing on an ace high board with 2 2-flushes?
Also, you were not the preflop raiser and you bet big on the flop, so it looks like you hit the flop pretty strong. |
