In the You Tube comments, people are saying the cobra's mouth is sewn shut. That would explain how this is possible.

[img]/images/graemlins/tongue.gif[/img] I just assumed that the cobra had its fangs removed or something like that. A sewn mouth makes more sense. |

Stuff like this brings out the Steve Irwin in me. I just think it's a travesty to do this to a lower lifeform, even if it is a cobra and can kill you. I understand the need to kill one of these things if it gets near you, threatens you, etc. But don't torment the thing.
Besides, how does that help for teaching the child how to behave around a cobra? What happens if the kid decides to try something like that with a cobra that doesn't have its mouth sewn shut. The parents make me sick. |
