WSOP: Easiest Braclet to win?
Taking into consideration field size, strength of field, buyin..ect. What would be the easiest bracelet to win this year? *Just assume a intermediate player with a good base knowledge of all the games*
My guess would be Event 29 - $1500 Razz, when considering that it'll likely be a small field (relative to the other 1500 buyin events), and the fact that Razz is a pretty standard game where the edge between a very good player and a better than avg player is definitely not as detrimental to the weaker player as it would/could be in NLHE. Thoughts? |

If money isn't an object (which isn't too realistic I guess), any of the rebuy events would have to be high on the list as well.

The field being one of the smallest helps, and being a limit tourney where you have to make many mistakes to get seriously hurt helps also. The difference between a WC razz player and an average razz player is still pretty substantial, and a WC razz player should have 2-3 times greater chance to win than average. The advantage to the average player is there are so few WC razz players, that he'll be facing a field of 500 decent-to-lousy players, and 10 good ones. |

[/ QUOTE ] That's basically the point I was trying to make. Leaving WC players out of the equation, the playing field should be rather level. In short, even the best razz players in the world can't fade bricks on 4th and 5th st. |

Re: WSOP: Easiest Braclet to win?
I played the 1500$ razz last year and it got about 404 players I think...
*warning semi-brag* I got 16th therefore it must be the easiest......although near the end there were alot of good players left. Carlos M Miami John Bax Eric Froelich Steve Diano etc... |

Re: WSOP: Easiest Braclet to win?
Good players for sure, but I think that list just proves my point even further. When you talk about the WC razz players I don't think any of those names are on the tips of anyones tounges. Except maybe you Nick... 2p2 pwns! NJ on 16th..
